Amman, Dec. 22 (Petra) – Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat said Unifonic’s expansion in Jordan reflects growing confidence in the Kingdom’s investment environment and digital economy.

According to a ministry statement issued Monday, Smeirat met with Unifonic Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Hamdan to discuss the company’s expansion plans and prospects for cooperation in technology and digital transformation.

Smeirat said the expansion highlights Jordan’s attractive investment climate, qualified digital talent, and continued government support for the information and communications technology sector, helping attract quality investments and enhance the competitiveness of the national digital economy.

Hamdan said the expansion underscores the strength of Jordan’s business environment and ongoing digital transformation, supporting company growth, innovation, and regional and international expansion.
