Amman, Oct. 9 (Petra) – The University of Jordan Hospital released its 2024 annual statistical report, comprising 262 medium-sized pages documenting achievements at the medical, administrative, and technical levels during 2024.

According to a hospital statement issued Thursday, the report serves as a comprehensive reference rich in figures and statistics that reflect the scope of professional work and accomplishments.

It includes data on occupancy rates, admissions and discharges, surgical operations, and emergency and outpatient visits, supported by statistical tables and charts illustrating performance and service development.

A special section was dedicated to scientific research, indicating that 142 scientific studies in the fields of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and other health specialties were conducted, underscoring the hospital’s commitment to its academic and research role.

The report also highlighted the most notable local and international delegations that visited the hospital during 2024, and reviewed the main global and local certificates and accreditations it has obtained, reaffirming its leading position in healthcare, medical education, and scientific research.

It further outlined the hospital’s 2025 goals, which focus on improving the patient and staff environment and enhancing the quality of healthcare services in line with the latest global standards in medical care and healthcare management.

In this regard, the hospital’s Director General, Dr. Nader Al-Bsoul, said that issuing the annual statistical report reflects the hospital’s commitment to transparency and institutional accountability, and recognizes the efforts of its staff across all disciplines.

He noted that the report demonstrates the hospital’s contribution and excellence in serving the Jordanian community and healthcare sector and serves as an incentive to achieve further progress in line with the hospital's mission in the fields of care, education, and scientific research.
