Amman, Jan. 5 (Petra) -- Zain Jordan continued in 2025 to consolidate its role in developing the Kingdom’s e-sports and gaming system through its E-Sports Center, reinforcing Jordan’s position as a regional and global hub in the business.

The company said in a statement on Monday that its E-Sports Center organized a series of tournaments, events, and partnerships in 2025, while renewing its cooperation with the Jordan ESports Federation.

In partnership with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the University of Jordan (UJ), the center set up a specialized hub for e-sports and game development at the UJ Academy.

The initiative aims to integrate e-sports into the educational process, open new learning and professional pathways, and build students’ digital skills.

In cooperation with the Jordan E-Sports Federation, the center organized the Jordanian Universities E-Sports Championship, with the participation of around 1,200 male and female players from various universities, it noted.

The tournament enhanced competitiveness and innovation, and contributed to identifying and developing Jordanian talent in an educational competitive environment.

At the regional level, the center boosted its presence through the Zain E-Sports West Asia Football Federation electronic football championship, with the participation of 10 Arab countries., and event that reinforced Jordan’s status as a leading regional destination for e-sports tournaments.

It also organized several tournaments and entered into a strategic partnership for the Aqaba E-Sports Championship, where 165 players participated.

Zain Jordan’s role also included sponsorship of key international competitions, as part of its commitment to providing interactive competitive platforms and supporting the electronic gaming industry.
