ICC launches employment training courses for Irbid's youth

Irbid, August 13 (Petra) – Training and Development Center at Irbid Chamber of Commerce (ICC) announced launch of a new package of specialized training courses, starting August 19, aimed at developing skills of youth and job seekers and enhancing their readiness to enter the labor market.

In a statement Thursday, ICC Chairman, Mohammad Shouha, stated the chamber places "great" importance on vocational training, as fundamental pillars in enhancing youth's readiness to enter the labor market.

On their goals, he noted that the new training programs focus on providing practical skills that align with needs of the labor market and requirements of the commercial and service sectors.

He added that the chamber is committed to "continuously" developing its training plan and expanding its scope to contribute to raising efficiency of youth and job seekers, and enhancing their ability to compete and benefit from available opportunities in the labor market.

In turn, the center's director, Taghreed Hilat, said the training package features a range of "diverse and specialized" programs that aim to develop the beneficiaries' personal and professional skills.

The center, she stated, is committed to providing "high-quality" training content that contributes to building youth capabilities to meet demands of the labor market.

The chamber invites interested applicants to register by visiting the center at the ICC's building, or by contacting the registration hotline (0799514654).
