Al-Balqa Applied University Achieves Top Ranking in Arab Academic Training Programs

Salt, July 8 (Petra)-- Al-Balqa Applied University has secured second place among Jordanian universities and fourth place among Arab universities for its academic training programs for university students, according to the rankings of the Arab Council for Student Training and Innovation.

The university was honored at a ceremony held by the council, where Dr. Aziz Rahamnneh, Dean of the Salt Faculty of Educational and Human Sciences and a member of the council’s executive committee, received the award on behalf of the university.

The recognition reflects the university’s efforts in supporting academic training programs for Arab university students and expanding its participation in academic cooperation initiatives across the region.

University President Ahmad Fakhri Ajlouni said the achievement highlights the university’s continued progress at the national and Arab levels and reflects its focus on developing students through specialized training opportunities, student exchange programs, and partnerships with Arab universities.

He said the university is committed to supporting initiatives that enhance the quality of education and help graduates acquire the skills and capabilities needed in today’s competitive environment.

Dr. Rahamnneh said the achievement demonstrates the university’s commitment to expanding students’ academic experiences and providing opportunities to benefit from training and exchange programs with Arab universities. He added that these initiatives contribute to strengthening students’ academic and practical skills and support efforts to improve the educational environment.
