Amman, June 22 (Petra) - HRH Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II held a video call on Sunday with members of the national football team ahead of their upcoming World Cup clash against Algeria.

During the call, the Crown Prince conveyed the steadfast support of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the "Nashama," reaffirming his immense confidence in the squad's capability to shoulder the responsibility and represent Jordan with distinction on the global stage.

The Crown Prince commended the national team's standout performance and competitive drive during their opening match, emphasizing that their level of play, discipline, and high morale have filled all Jordanians with immense pride.

He urged the players to maintain this momentum, play cohesively as a unit, and focus on correcting previous tactical errors on the pitch. Additionally, the Crown Prince highlighted the critical role of the head coach and technical staff in guiding the team through the next phase of the tournament, stressing that every player should take profound pride in competing at the World Cup.

For his part, team captain Ihsan Haddad stated that team morale remains exceptionally high and that the players fully understand the weight of the responsibility they carry. Haddad assured that the squad will exhaust all efforts during the match against Algeria to secure a result that aligns with the aspirations of Jordanian fans and honors the nation's historic World Cup run.
