Tourism Ministry Launches Eid Al-Adha Events Program Across Kingdom

Amman, May 25 (Petra)-- The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has launched a special Eid Al-Adha events program featuring a wide range of artistic, cultural and entertainment activities at tourist and archaeological sites across Jordan’s governorates, aiming to boost domestic tourism and provide festive experiences for families and visitors during the holiday.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the ministry announced that more than 50 artistic, entertainment and heritage events will be held on the second and third days of Eid Al-Adha, from 7 p.m. until midnight, at several tourist and archaeological locations throughout the Kingdom.

The ministry also said it has raised its operational and field readiness levels at various tourist and heritage sites in preparation for the holiday, as part of a comprehensive plan implemented in cooperation with relevant authorities to ensure the availability of services and provide a safe and comfortable tourism experience for citizens and visitors.

Meanwhile, the ministry will continue operating the "Urdunna Jannah" (Jordan Our Paradise) program during the Eid holiday, with trips scheduled to begin on the second day of Eid. The program offers a variety of promotional packages and discounted rates, enabling citizens to visit numerous tourist and archaeological destinations across the Kingdom.
