Foreign Minister meets Estonian private sector representatives

Tallinn, Estonia, May 17 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi met Sunday with representatives of the Estonian private sector at the conclusion of his visit to Estonia.

The meeting, attended by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, focused on ways to strengthen economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and expand partnerships between the Jordanian and Estonian private sectors in technology, digital transformation, innovation, energy and tourism.

Safadi briefed participants on Jordan's investment environment, highlighting the promising opportunities and incentives available to investors. He reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to deepening economic cooperation with Estonia and building on the relations between the two countries.

He discussed the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, which the Kingdom will host later this year, as a major platform for advancing economic partnership between Jordan and the European Union.

Safadi encouraged Estonian business leaders and investors to participate in the conference and explore investment opportunities in the Kingdom.

Separately, Safadi met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on the sidelines of his participation in the Lennart Meri Conference.

Their discussions covered ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and the European Union, as well as regional developments and efforts to promote security and stability.
