International Food, Food Tech Exhibition Draws Business Interest

Amman, Sept. 7 (Petra) --The International Food and Food Tech Exhibition attracted business owners, visitors and those interested in the food industry, as well as companies and manufacturers from Jordan and abroad.

The three-day exhibition, which concluded Sunday evening and was organized by Nabd International for Exhibitions and Conferences, provided participants and visitors with an opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and solutions used in food manufacturing and to connect with various stakeholders in the food industry.

The exhibition brought together companies specializing in food and beverages and food industry technologies, as well as government decision-makers and international organizations concerned with the food industry.

Participating companies represented food and beverage production, dairy and meat products, frozen foods, food ingredients and additives, manufacturing equipment, packaging, cold chains, technological solutions, food services and hospitality.

Director General of Nabd International Al-Anoud Jarrar said the exhibition brought together 200 companies from 25 Arab and foreign countries, in addition to Jordan. She said the event included business-to-business meetings to discuss opportunities for commercial partnerships, opening new markets and learning about the latest technologies and solutions used in food manufacturing.

In a statement issued Monday, Jarrar said the fourth edition of the exhibition focused on food security, challenges and technological solutions in food manufacturing, production-line automation, supply-chain sustainability and strengthening regional food security. It also presented the latest developments and innovations in food manufacturing, equipment and technologies related to packaging.

Jarrar stressed the importance of organizing specialized exhibitions in Jordan to support various economic sectors, promote their activities and highlight Jordanian products and the progress made in their development. She also pointed to their role in strengthening business networking opportunities and attracting investment.
