Education Ministry official inspects schools and e-Tawjihi readiness in Aqaba

Aqaba, Oct. 18 (Petra) -- Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development for Educational Affairs, Sahar Al-Shakhatreh, conducted a field tour on Sunday to inspect educational facilities across Aqaba Governorate.

Accompanied by Director of the Aqaba Education Directorate Abdul Wahab Al-Hajjaj, the visit aimed to monitor the educational process and assess school readiness.

The tour included visits to Zain Al-Sharaf Secondary School for Girls and the Al Thamina Secondary School for Boys, where Al-Shakhatreh attended morning assemblies and school broadcast activities. She also inspected vocational and technical education tracks at both institutions.

Al-Shakhatreh reviewed facility equipment and resources to ensure they offer a supportive learning environment that enhances practical skills and aligns student capabilities with labor market demands. She commended the teaching and administrative staff for maintaining high educational standards and supporting technical education programs.

Additionally, Al-Shakhatreh visited the Educational and Information Technology Center in Aqaba to examine computer lab infrastructure and technical preparations for conducting the electronic General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi), evaluating testing readiness and lab capacity.
