Jordan Silos Company posts JD20m in 2025 revenue

Amman, May 3 (Petra) -- The Jordan Silos and Supply General Company reported total sales and service revenues of about JD20 million in 2025, while transferring JD3 million to the Treasury as financial surplus and paying nearly JD304,000 in taxes and national contributions for the same year.

According to a statement issued Sunday, the company held its annual ordinary general assembly meeting, chaired by Board Chairman Anwar Ajarmeh, with the attendance of board members, General Manager Emad Tarawneh, and shareholders representing 100 percent of shares.

The assembly approved the 2025 annual report, financial statements, the external auditor’s report, and all agenda items.

It reaffirmed the company’s continued strategic role in managing the national grain reserves and strengthening the food security system, commending the efforts of the board and executive management and confirming the legal validity of the meeting procedures.

Established under Cabinet Decision No. 657 dated September 5, 2000, the company serves as the storage arm for the Kingdom’s strategic reserves of grains and essential food commodities. It plays a central role in reinforcing national food security in line with the policies and supply plans of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply.
