Senate President Receives Integrity Commission 2025 Report

Amman, Sept. 14 (Petra) – Senate President Faisal Fayez on Monday received a copy of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission’s 2025 annual report.

Fayez received the report from Commission Board Chairman Hazem Majali in the presence of several board members.

He said the Senate supports the Commission’s efforts to strengthen integrity, justice, and the rule of law, combat corruption, and protect public funds.

Fayez added that the Senate is prepared to cooperate with the Commission on legislative proposals related to its mandate. He said the report would be reviewed by the Senate’s relevant committees in coordination with concerned authorities to address the issues it raises.

He pointed out that the Senate would work to address legislative obstacles affecting the Commission’s work and stressed the importance of preventive measures and proactive verification procedures.

Majali, for his part, presented the report’s main findings and recommendations on strengthening the Commission’s role, improving its working methods, protecting public funds, and addressing financial and administrative violations.

He also outlined the Commission’s awareness and education activities, efforts to strengthen the national integrity and governance framework, and its future priorities.
