Amman, Oct. 26 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index rose 0.79% on Monday, closing at 4,150 points, with a trading value of JD15.9 million.

Some 5 million shares changed hands through 5,072 transactions.

All three sector indices recorded gains, led by the industrial sector, which rose 1.61%, followed by the financial sector at 0.72% and the services sector at 0.37%.

Of 103 on the index, 49 recorded share price gains, 18 declined and the rest were flat.
