Amman, October 26 (Petra) -- His Majesty King Abdullah II received a phone call on Monday from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman, who expressed his condolences over the loss of the victims of the terrorist attack on a church in Karak Governorate, according to a royal court statement.

During the call, Sultan Haitham affirmed Oman’s solidarity with Jordan, emphasising his country’s rejection of terrorism and the targeting of places of worship and terrorising of innocent people. The sultan also offered his sympathies to the families of the martyrs, and wished a rapid recovery to those injured. //Petra// AK
