Russian Central Bank adjusts official exchange rates for dollar, euro, yuan

Moscow, Oct. 7 (Petra) -- The Central Bank of the Russian Federation raised the official exchange rate of the U.S. dollar on Wednesday to approximately 86 rubles, while the euro rose to around 96 rubles and the Chinese yuan to roughly 13 rubles.
In an official statement, the central bank said the new exchange rates reflect current market dynamics amid currency fluctuations and oil price movements. It noted that the ruble's shift coincides with increased foreign currency purchases by the Ministry of Finance.
