Teleferic Ajloun Receives More Than 12,000 Visitors Over Weekend

Ajloun, May 11 (Petra) -- Teleferic Ajloun, operated by the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group, recorded strong visitor turnout over the weekend, receiving approximately 12,386 visitors, reflecting its growing status as a leading tourism and entertainment destination in the Kingdom.

Tareq Maaytah, Director of the Ajloun Development zone, stated that the Teleferic Ajloun staff managed visitor reception and the organization of entry and boarding operations with a high level of professionalism, ensuring a safe, smooth, and comfortable experience for all visitors despite the significant crowds recorded over the past three days.

Maaytah added that Teleferic Ajloun management continues to enhance and develop the services offered to visitors, while continuously improving the overall travel experience through upgraded organizational, service, and entertainment aspects, in line with Ajloun’s position as one of the Kingdom’s premier natural and tourism destinations.

Maaytah noted that accompanying activities and events, combined with Ajloun’s natural landscape and moderate climate, contributed significantly to attracting families and visitors from across the Kingdom, in addition to Arab and international tourists.

The Jordan Free and Development Zones Group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting high-quality tourism projects that contribute to stimulating tourism and economic activity, while further strengthening Jordan’s position as a diverse tourist destination that combines nature, entertainment, and investment opportunities.
