Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) -- Jordanian pharmaceutical manufacturer Dar Aldawa reported a 59% increase in net profit to JD4.62 million during the first nine months of 2026, driven by higher sales and improved operational efficiency.
In a statement Thursday, the company said net sales rose 9% to JD61.15 million, compared with JD56.04 million during the same period last year, while gross profit increased 19% to JD27.57 million, according to figures disclosed to the Amman Stock Exchange.
Dar Aldawa Chair Akram Jarrab said the results build on the company's growth in recent years and reflect its efforts to achieve sustainable expansion. He attributed the performance to a clear strategic vision and effective executive management, which enabled the company to strengthen its competitiveness and position in regional and international markets despite ongoing challenges.
Jarrab also commended the executive management and employees for their efforts, reaffirming the board's support for initiatives that promote growth, create sustainable shareholder value and strengthen the company's standing in the pharmaceutical industry.
CEO Khaled Harb said Dar Aldawa continued to meet its objectives despite regional and global challenges by adapting to changing conditions and identifying new growth opportunities while maintaining its strategic direction.
He noted that the 19% increase in gross profit reflects continued improvements in operational efficiency, contributing to the 59% rise in net profit. Harb credited the results to the company's workforce and its commitment to prioritizing the needs of patients and the healthcare sector.
He said Dar Aldawa would continue expanding its research and manufacturing capabilities and establishing strategic partnerships to strengthen its position in regional and global pharmaceutical markets while delivering safe and effective medicines.
Established in 1975, Dar Aldawa is one of the region's longest-established pharmaceutical manufacturers, operating seven production facilities in Jordan and Algeria.
The company has also begun expanding its manufacturing operations into Saudi Arabia, where it is establishing a pharmaceutical plant after obtaining an industrial investment license.
With more than 50 years of experience, Dar Aldawa focuses on developing, manufacturing, and marketing high-quality pharmaceutical products. It also supports local employment and professional training and cooperates with several universities to develop industry expertise.
