Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) -- Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh received UAE Ambassador to Jordan Sultan Mohammad Saeed Al-Shamsi at the ministry's headquarters on Thursday to discuss avenues for strengthening investment cooperation between the two nations.

Abu Ghazaleh highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Jordan and the UAE, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the importance of building upon these ties to expand bilateral investment projects.

For his part, Al-Shamsi reaffirmed the strength of UAE-Jordan relations and mutual keenness to foster cooperation across various sectors, pointing to the importance of bolstering private sector partnerships and mutual investment.

The two sides explored potential collaboration in sectors of mutual interest and agreed to maintain coordination between relevant authorities to encourage cross-border investment and create new economic opportunities.

The meeting forms part of the Ministry of Investment's ongoing efforts to enhance international investment partnerships and promote investment opportunities within the Kingdom.
