Amman, Nov. 18 (Petra) – The Southern Military Zone on Tuesday intercepted an attempt to smuggle narcotics using two drones on its western front within its area of responsibility.

According to a statement by Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, the operation was conducted in coordination with military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department (AND).

Border guards detected and shot down the drones over Jordanian territory and the seized drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.
