2nd phase of leadership skills program for women in political parties concludes

Amman, July 18 (Petra) – The Independent Election Commission (IEC), in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, on Saturday wrapped up the second phase of its leadership skills enhancement program for Women in Political Parties.

The advanced three-day program targeted female leaders from various political parties, and follows the first phase that was implemented across the Kingdom's regions in the past few months.

The program is part of IEC efforts to support and empower female party leaders, enhance their leadership and organizational capabilities, and contribute to the development of party work and the consolidation of women's political participation, in line with the Kingdom's political modernization efforts, the commission said in a statement.

The program, presented by Tunisian expert Mohsen Marzouk, included specialized training sessions on building a leadership mindset, strategic planning and thinking, public speaking and media relations skills, party membership and party leadership, and negotiation and situation management skills.

It also featured practical applications and training demonstrations designed to develop the participants' ability to handle various situations confidently and effectively.

Ahmed Abu Zeid, Registrar of Political Parties, presented certificates to trainees, thanking Konrad Adenauer Foundation for its support, and commending the participants' commitment and engagement throughout the training.
