Amman, Sep. 20 (Petra) -- Minister of Investment Tareq Abughazaleh on Sunday inspected investment projects in the Rawdah Industrial Zone, which are part of the Ma'an Development Company (MDC), and reviewed production, expansion plans and investors' needs.

During his tour, Abu Ghazaleh called for expanding investment across the governorates, supporting productive projects, local industries, employment and exports, and attracting new investments to local communities.
The tour also covered existing fertilizer and paper-industry projects and their expansion plans and export potential. The MDC CEO Mohammed Abu-Tayeh briefed the minister on the area's existing projects, development plans and efforts to improve services and infrastructure.
On Aug. 2 , the Cabinet approved a package of incentives for the Rawdah Industrial Zone to enhance its competitiveness and encourage new industrial projects.
