Army chief meets with Polish defence minister

Amman, March 31 (Petra) – Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti met on Tuesday with Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
Huneiti and Kosiniak-Kamysz discussed strengthening military and defence cooperation and collaboration across various fields in support of shared interests and regional and international security and stability.
They reviewed issues of mutual interest, particularly in the areas of training, exchange of expertise, counterterrorism and defence capacity building.
Huneiti said that the Jordanian Armed Forces is committed to expanding cooperation with the Polish Armed Forces to achieve greater coordination and integration.
Kosiniak-Kamysz, in turn, expressed appreciation for Jordan's role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in promoting security and stability in the region and praised the professionalism and efficiency of the Jordan Armed Forces.
