Amman, March 31 (Petra) -- The Southern Military Zone thwarted two attempts to smuggle narcotics using two drones along its western front early Tuesday, within its area of responsibility, in coordination with the military security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department.

Rules of engagement were applied after the drones were detected by Border Guard forces, and both were brought down inside Jordanian territory. The seized narcotics were then handed over to the relevant authorities.
