Army Intercepts 1 Iranian Missile, 2 Drones Targeting Kingdom in Past 24 Hours

Amman, April 1 (Petra) --Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army on Wednesday announced the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted a missile launched from Iran and 2 drones that targeted Jordanian territory over the past 24 hours.
The Military Media Directorate at the JAF's General Command said the Royal Jordanian Air Force dealt with the attacks with "high efficiency and professionalism." Meanwhile, the Public Security Directorate (PAD) spokesperson said the relevant units handled six reports over the past 24 hours involving falling shrapnel and projectiles.
The spokesperson said no injuries were reported as a result of the incidents, although some material damage was recorded.
The spokesperson renewed warnings against gathering near, approaching, or tampering with any suspicious objects or shrapnels due to their danger, stressing the need to follow guidance and instructions issued through official channels.
The spokesperson also urged the public to report any suspicious object to the security services via the emergency number 911, calling for adhering to official instructions, relying on information from official sources, and refraining from spreading rumors and misleading information.
