Amman, March 26 (Petra) -- The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army announced on Thursday that Iranian missiles targeted the Kingdom three times over the past 24 hours.

It added that the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted all three missiles with efficiency and professionalism.

Separately, the Public Security Directorate’s media spokesperson said the relevant units had dealt with 17 reports over the same period involving falling shrapnel and projectiles.

The spokesperson said no injuries were recorded as a result of those incidents, while some material damage was reported.

He renewed the warning against gathering near, approaching, or tampering with any suspicious objects or fragments because of the danger they pose, stressing the need to follow the guidance and instructions issued through official channels.

He also urged the public to report any suspicious object to the security authorities via the 911 emergency number, emphasizing the importance of adhering to official instructions, relying on information issued by official sources, and refraining from circulating rumors and misleading reports.
