Amman, March 24 (Petra) -- The Jordan Armed Forces, represented by the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC), signed an agreement on Tuesday with the King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) to implement a flagship investment project described as the first of its kind in the Middle East, in the presence of the Assistant Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Planning, Organization and Defense Resources.
The agreement was signed on behalf of KASOTC by its Director General, Colonel Khaldoun Ersheidat, and on behalf of KHBP by its Chief Executive Officer, Ammar Izziddin.
The agreement stipulates the establishment of an integrated project for sports activities and recreational events, based on carefully studied scientific foundations and advanced operational standards, achieving integration between training and investment aspects. The project targets youth within a structured and safe environment aimed at developing physical and mental capabilities, enhancing endurance, discipline, and teamwork skills, and promoting values of challenge and initiative, in line with the institutional approach of the armed forces in preparing and qualifying human resources.
Both sides confirmed that the project implementation aligns with the General Command’s directives to expand areas of strategic partnership and leverage available capabilities to support high-quality programs targeting youth, enhancing community readiness and backing national development efforts.
