Amman, July 21 (Petra) - Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Mazen Qadi honored young driver Mohammad Ziad Shdeifat on Tuesday for his heroic efforts in helping extinguish a fire along the Mafraq-Zarqa highway.

Shdeifat used his personal water tanker truck to help contain the blaze.

Qadi lauded Shdeifat as an "honorable example of civic responsibility and dedication to serving the nation." Shdeifat expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating that his actions were "simply a national and humanitarian duty." //Petra// HA
