IEC announces final results of 2026 industry chamber elections

IEC announces final results of 2026 industry chamber elections

Amman, Oct. 3 (Petra) -- Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Musa Al-Maaytah announced the final results of the winners in the 2026 industry chamber elections and the representatives of industrial sectors.

Winning membership on the Amman Chamber of Industry board of directors were Fathi Al-Jaghbir (587 votes), Saad Yaseen (549 votes), Fawaz Al-Shaka'a (547 votes), Ahmad Al-Khudari (542 votes), Majdi Al-Hashlamoun (539 votes), Iyad Abu Haltam (534 votes), Ahed Al-Rajabi (530 votes), Raed Al-Takrouri (528 votes), and Dima Sukhtian (514 votes).

Winning membership on the Irbid Chamber of Industry board of directors by acclamation were Hani Al-Abdullah, Mohammad Oweis, Hussein Al-Daraiseh, Nidal Al-Hasi, Amin Al-Ramahi, Khalid Al-Kharashqa, Mamoun Halawa, Mamoun Al-Khader, and Mazen Al-Rammah.

Winning membership on the Zarqa Chamber of Industry board of directors by acclamation were Fares Hammoudeh, Hussein Al-Hawatmeh, Amjad Al-Basha, Wissam Sidr, Amer Al-Dmour, Dina Jack Khayyat, Ali Hassan, Ayman Al-Masri, and Ghassan Al-Kilani.

Winning by acclamation for the packaging, paper, cardboard, and office supplies sector was Mohammad Al-Abbasi; for the chemicals and cosmetics industries sector, Ahmad Al-Biss; for the construction industries sector, Alaa Abu Soufah; for the leather and textile industries sector, Ihab Qaderi; and for the therapeutic industries and medical supplies sector, Fadi Al-Atrash.

Winning for the plastics and rubber industries sector was Alaa Abu Khazneh; for the food, supply, agricultural, and livestock industries sector, Mohammad Al-Jitan; for the engineering, electrical, and information technology industries sector, Mohammad Al-Haj Hassan; for the mining industries sector, Ibrahim Al-Jazi; and for the wood and furniture industries sector, Taher Khaled.
