Amman, June 28 (Petra) – Jordan's national basketball team, the Falcons, will face their Iraqi counterparts on Monday evening in a pivotal Group C clash during the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers. The highly anticipated game is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 PM at the Prince Hamzah Arena at the Al Hussein Youth City.

Competing in Group C alongside Iraq, Iran, and Syria, the Falcons aim to extend their unblemished record and solidify their position at the top of the standings to comfortably secure a berth in the second round of the qualification tournament.

Jordan enters the matchup backed by a strong operational start, having secured three consecutive victories – including two dominant wins against Syria and a decisive triumph over Iran. This pristine run has yielded six points, positioning Jordan as the sole leader of Group C.
