Amman, Sept. 1 (Petra)-- Clinics run by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) at Zaatari Camp have provided 180,547 medical services to Syrian refugees since the start of the year.
The services have covered a range of medical specialties, including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat care, internal medicine, cardiology and dermatology. They have also included diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation and physical therapy.
In addition, the clinics have carried out laboratory tests and various radiological examinations, while providing vaccinations and preventive care for children and other patients.
The medical services form part of ongoing humanitarian cooperation to support healthcare in refugee camps and ensure refugees have access to essential medical care, with particular attention to those in greater need.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization said the continued provision of healthcare at Zaatari Camp highlights the role of humanitarian partnerships in supporting refugees and addressing their health and humanitarian needs through sustained and organized efforts.
