Beirut, March 17 (Petra) -- The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the number of martyrs from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 912, with the number of wounded reaching 2,221.

A Lebanese security source told Petra’s correspondent in Beirut that "since this afternoon, Tuesday, Israeli aircraft have carried out successive and intensive airstrikes on dozens of villages and towns in southern Lebanon. These strikes have resulted in more than 10 deaths and widespread destruction of targeted buildings and sites." The source added, "Israeli forces have attempted to advance toward the southern neighborhoods of the town of Taybeh under the cover of air raids, artillery shelling, and machine-gun fire. The shelling has also targeted the town of Deir Sirian." //Petra// AF
