Lebanese Parliament's term extended for 2 years

Beirut, March 9 (Petra) – Lebanon's Parliament said on Monday it will postpone parliamentary elections, scheduled in May, for two years, due to the war in the region.
The parliament's Speakership said in a press release that the General Assembly of Parliament approved the extension of its mandate for two years, with 76 members voting for, 41 against, and four abstaining.
