Amman, March 4 (Petra) – NATO on Wednesday condemned an Iranian attack on Turkey, reiterating its full support of allies.

NATO spokesperson Alison Hart said the alliance stands firmly with all allies, especially Turkey, as Iran continues indiscriminate attacks across the region, according to Anadolu News Agency.

"Our deterrence and defense posture is strong in all areas, including air and missile defense," she said.

Earlier, Turkey's defense ministry said NATO anti-missile systems in the Eastern Mediterranean destroyed a ballistic missile fired by Iran towards Turkey.
