Amman, July 15 (Petra) -- A new retail venue at The Boulevard will showcase and market handmade products created by women participating in the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training's economic empowerment programs under a cooperation agreement signed Wednesday with Abdali Investment and Development's subsidiary, The Boulevard.

The agreement, signed by Princess Taghrid Institute Director General Aghadeer Jweihan and Abdali Investment and Development CEO Amer Tarawneh, establishes "The Boulevard's Corner," a dedicated retail space that will open this month and operate throughout the summer season, providing women beneficiaries with greater access to customers and new market opportunities.

The space will feature handicrafts and products made by women taking part in the institute's programs, while also hosting the "Na'meh Market," which will include handicraft displays, artistic and cultural activities, and entertainment events.

The initiative aims to connect women with a broader customer base and create sustainable marketing opportunities for their products, helping them turn their skills and training into income-generating activities.

The partnership will also provide the Princess Taghrid Institute with a platform to showcase its humanitarian and development mission to visitors, including members of the local community, tourists, and private-sector representatives.

It will highlight the success stories of women and young people who have benefited from the institute's training, education, empowerment, and social welfare programs, while helping expand its network of supporters and strategic partners and strengthen the sustainability of its initiatives.

Jweihan described the agreement as a strategic opportunity to expand the institute's reach and introduce a wider audience to the products created by its beneficiaries.

She stressed that sustainable economic empowerment requires more than training, saying that providing fair and lasting marketing opportunities is essential to enabling women and young people to generate income and access employment opportunities.

Jweihan added that the initiative will highlight the talents and capabilities of beneficiaries while introducing visitors to the institute's mission, which focuses on dignity, empowerment, and social protection.

She said the initiative will also provide women- and youth-led projects with opportunities to promote their products and showcase their cultural, artistic, and heritage-based craftsmanship through the Na'meh Market.

Tarawneh said the partnership reflects The Boulevard's commitment to supporting national initiatives that generate meaningful social impact.

He noted that hosting the institute's products extends beyond providing retail space, as it allows visitors to discover inspiring stories of Jordanian artisans who have transformed training and empowerment programs into sustainable livelihoods.

The Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training works to empower vulnerable groups, particularly women who have lost family support after the age of 18, as well as women, youth, and persons with disabilities across the Kingdom. Its programs include post-foster care support, vocational and handicraft training, employment rehabilitation, assistance for microenterprises, and local and international marketing of beneficiaries' products.

The partnership is part of the institute's "Promise for a Better Future" campaign, which seeks to strengthen social protection and promote self-reliance by expanding access to education, training, and employment opportunities and building strategic partnerships that support sustainable development outcomes.
