Moscow, Sept. 29 (Petra) - A Russian Tu-95 strategic bomber crashed on Tuesday during a routine training flight in the eastern Amur region, killing six crew members and injuring another, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense preliminary reports.

The bomber went down while executing a training mission, the ministry stated. Rescue teams located the crew at the crash site, and the sole survivor was transported to a medical facility for treatment.

Authorities launched an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
