Amman, March 29 (Petra) -- The Southern Military Zone on Saturday evening thwarted an attempt by three individuals to infiltrate one of its border frontages within its area of responsibility while trying to cross the border illegally.

Rules of engagement were applied after the individuals were detected by Border Guard forces. They were apprehended without injuries and referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal action.
