Aqaba Completes Preparations for Public Screening of Jordan-Algeria Match

Aqaba, June 22 (Petra) – Aqaba has finalized preparations to host fans at the Great Arab Revolt Square for a public screening of Jordan's match against Algeria, amid a festive atmosphere reflecting widespread support for the national team.

The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, in cooperation with the Aqaba Transport and Logistics Company, has arranged free shuttle bus services to transport fans from various neighborhoods across the city to the square and back, facilitating access and helping ensure smooth traffic flow.

Preparations included installing giant screens and providing the necessary logistical and organizational services to accommodate thousands of supporters. Dedicated areas have also been allocated for families and people with disabilities to ensure a safe and comfortable viewing experience.

According to the arrangements, shuttle buses will operate from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m., while return trips will run from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. following the conclusion of the event.

Authorities and organizers called on fans to arrive early, wear red, and raise Jordanian flags to help create a patriotic atmosphere that reflects national pride and support for the national team in the important fixture.
