Orange Jordan, MetLife launch digital insurance services through Orange Money

Amman, June 14 (Petra) – Orange Jordan and MetLife, the U.S.-based life insurance company, launched a new partnership to offer innovative digital insurance services to provide access to tailored insurance solutions.

According to a statement issued by Orange Jordan on Sunday, the new service enables users to subscribe to customised insurance packages, including life and personal accident coverage and pay premiums easily and securely through the Orange Money application.

The statement said the service delivers an instant and fully digital experience, eliminating the need for cash transactions. Customers can select either Silver or Gold insurance packages directly through the app and manage their payment preferences with full transparency through instant notifications.

The service offers flexibility in choosing payment methods and schedules, enhancing the customer experience and providing reliable insurance coverage that can be accessed anywhere in the world.

Orange Jordan said the partnership reflects the two companies' commitment to developing innovative and secure digital solutions that support the growth of Jordan's financial and insurance sectors.

The initiative aligns with efforts to advance digital transformation and expand access to financial services among broader segments of society.

For its part, MetLife expressed pride in partnering with Orange Jordan to introduce innovative digital insurance solutions that make insurance protection services more accessible, convenient and flexible for customers.

The statement noted that eligibility for the new service is subject to several conditions, including that subscribers be between 18 and 55 years of age and possess an active and verified Orange Money wallet.

It added that the e-wallet service is committed to protecting customer information and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with applicable privacy laws as part of its approach to providing secure and reliable financial solutions and services. //Petra// AK
