Amman, Sept. 28 (Petra) - The Jordan Customs Department on Monday urged Jordanians with outstanding custom fines to take advantage of the government's fee reduction and settlement program before the deadline expires at the end of September.

The department explained that the settlement program applies to customs cases identified prior to Jan. 1, 2025. Under the current second phase, eligible individuals can receive fine reductions ranging from 40 percent to 75 percent.

The relief measures seeks to ease financial burdens on Jordanians, according to the department, enabling them to resolve outstanding legal and financial obligations under applicable law.
