Amman, Sept. 29 (Petra) -- The Directorate of Scholarships and Cultural Bureaus at the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development announced Tuesday the names of students shortlisted for foreign scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year in the first nomination round, available on the directorate's website at (http://www.dsamohe.gov.jo), with text messages also sent to shortlisted students at the phone numbers they registered when submitting applications.

The ministry said shortlisted students will be granted a 12-hour window to decide electronically whether to accept or decline the scholarship through the online platform prepared for this purpose. Those who accept must complete required documents within 48 hours by visiting the ministry's Directorate of Scholarships and Cultural Bureaus – Department of Students Abroad and Cultural Agreements. Otherwise, they forfeit their right to the nomination.

The unit noted that non-shortlisted students can view the names and grade averages of those nominated within their geographic or designated region using the username and password they used when submitting their applications.
