Amman, Sept. 22 (Petra) -- Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarub Qudah emphasized on Tuesday that job excellence and institutional leadership serve as vital pillars for raising the quality of public services delivered to citizens and the business sector.

Speaking at an awards ceremony hosted by the ministry to honor organizational units and employees winning internal excellence and ideal employee awards, Qudah underscored the importance of fostering human potential and encouraging an innovative culture within government bodies.

Dana Al-Zoubi, the ministry's secretary-general, commended staff achievements, particularly in national leadership initiatives. She praised Dima Al-Bakhit for completing the Executive Future Leaders pathway ("Irteqa") and Yaman Bani Atta for passing the initial stage of the Youth Future Leaders program ("Forsa").

Al-Zoubi noted that the recognition aligns with the ministry’s strategy to embed a culture of high performance across all administrative tiers, advancing strategic programs efficiently.

In the organizational unit category, the Maan Governorate Directorate of Industry, Trade and Supply ranked first as the best-performing division, while the Aqaba Governorate Directorate ranked second.

In the supervisory roles category, Diana Al-Aqdash from the Women’s Empowerment Unit and Manal Shehadeh from the Administrative Affairs Directorate tied for first place.

In the administrative, technical, and specialized roles category, Kholoud Al-Jame' from the Economic Activities Control Unit claimed first place. Amer Al-Majali from the Consumer Protection Directorate and Naila Inaim took second place jointly, while Khadija Al-Shatanawi from the Irbid Governorate Directorate won first place for governorate-level staff in the same category.

For office support positions, Bilal Al-Rahahleh from the Administrative Affairs Directorate won first place, with Ramzi Sandouqa taking second. In non-office support roles, Fadi Al-Saqqar from Administrative Affairs and Fares Al-Khawaldeh from Legal Affairs tied for first place, while Ayman Ibrahim from the Maintenance Directorate placed second.

In the drivers category, Fadi Al-Khalili and Mamdouh Jumaa from Administrative Affairs won joint first place, followed by Issam Al-Hiyari and Ibrahim Al-Qaraleh in second. At the governorate level, Rakan Al-Lawama and Anas Al-Rawashdeh from the Maan Directorate tied for first place alongside Marwan Al-Rawashdeh from the Zarqa Directorate.
