Amman, Jan. 6 (Petra)-- The Jordanian Exporters Association (JEA) has announced plans to participate in 12 specialized international trade fairs in 2026, providing Jordanian industrial companies and exporters with platforms to showcase their products, promote their brands globally, and tap into non-traditional export markets.
The exhibitions scheduled for participation include the Winter Fancy Food Show 2026 in San Diego, the Gulfood International in Dubai, the International Food and Drink Event (IFE) in London, and SIAL Canada in Montreal. Other events include the Saudi Manufacturing Expo in Riyadh, the Seoul Food and Hotel 2026 show, the Saudi Food Expo in Riyadh, the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York, the ISM Middle East in Dubai, the Private Label exhibitions in Dubai and Paris, and the the Gulf Industry Exhibition in Dubai.
Ahmed Al-Khudri, JEA Chairman, said the expanded schedule reflects Jordan’s positive industrial export growth and aims to diversify products and markets beyond traditional destinations. He added, "These trade fairs allow Jordanian companies to present their industries at the highest level, strengthen their global presence, and increase international competitiveness." Al-Khudri explained that participation in specialized trade fairs has helped companies secure partnerships with international suppliers and buyers, expand market share, and access previously untapped markets. He noted that this active engagement is reflected in the rapid growth of industrial exports, which is expected to positively influence the national economy over the coming years, in line with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision.
The association is also emphasizing key sectors such as food, chemicals, cosmetics, and Dead Sea products, while ensuring women entrepreneurs receive support to expand their presence in international markets.
Al-Khudri highlighted the significant backing Jordanian industry receives from King Abdullah II through his directives to facilitate industrial work and his visits to factories, which contribute to the sector’s growth and development.
Jordanian industrial exports grew by 7.7 percent over the first ten months of 2025, reaching JD 7.1 billion, compared to JD 6.6 billion in the same period of 2024.
The association works closely with industrial chambers and Jordan Exports Company to organize trade missions and collective participation in international fairs.
Haleem Abu Rahma, JEA Director General, emphasized that international trade fairs are crucial tools for entering new markets, understanding foreign market requirements, and building long-term partnerships with global importers. These efforts help reduce dependence on traditional markets and diversify export destinations.
Abu Rahma also noted that the association is committed to strengthening small- and medium-sized enterprises by providing technical support, capacity-building workshops, and promotional guidance to enhance their competitiveness and global reach.
Founded in 1988, the Jordanian Exporters Association continues to play a pivotal role in promoting Jordanian industrial products, facilitating international exposure, and supporting exporters in reaching new markets worldwide.
