Fayez said His Majesty King Abdullah II has repeatedly stressed the need to halt the war because of its dangerous repercussions for the region and the world. He added that the King has called on the international community to work toward a comprehensive and lasting de-escalation that helps restore stability and achieve peace for all.
He also outlined the challenges facing Jordan as a result of the conflicts surrounding it, underscoring the importance of strengthening economic and investment partnerships and creating broader prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
For her part, the Australian ambassador praised the level of Jordanian-Australian relations and stressed the importance of further developing and building on them across various fields in a way that serves the shared interests of both countries and peoples.
