Mafraq Public Works Directorate allocates JD1.037 million for 2027 road projects

Mafraq, Sept. 30 (Petra) -- The Mafraq Governorate Public Works Directorate has identified its projects under the governorate council's 2027 budget, totaling JD1.037 million, according to Directorate head Majed Al-Alwan.
Al-Alwan said the directorate's budget has been distributed among a number of projects included in its plan for next year across various areas of the governorate.
In remarks to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Wednesday, he added that JD220,000 has been allocated for rural and secondary road improvement projects, JD400,000 for the construction and improvement of agricultural roads, and JD192,000 for general road maintenance projects in the governorate.
He explained that the budget items also included allocating JD200,000 for projects to improve main roads in the governorate, noting that the projects listed in the budget items aim to improve the condition of main road networks, along with a focus on agricultural road projects.
