Amman, Sept. 30 (Petra) -- A Palestinian journalist was killed, and others were injured on Wednesday following an Israeli airstrike on the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that journalist Mohammad Al-Najjar was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara town, north of Khan Younis, leaving several others injured, according to the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA).

Since dawn on Wednesday, six Palestinians have been killed, including five who died in an airstrike targeting a bus near the Council of Ministers area in the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City. Additionally, a woman was killed, and others were wounded in a strike on a home near Al-Shifa Hospital in the western part of the city.

Earlier today, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the toll of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,032 deaths and 175,142 injuries.
