Amman, Oct. 28 (Petra) -- Global boxing legend Mike Tyson and acclaimed Turkish actor Engin Altan Düzyatan, best known for his title role in the historical drama series *Resurrection: Ertuğrul*, arrived in Amman on Wednesday as guests of honor for Jordan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Week and the "DF: UNCAGED" championship.

Tyson expressed his pleasure at visiting Jordan, noting that his prior knowledge of the country was primarily centered on the ancient city of Petra. He added that the visit offers him an opportunity to explore the Kingdom more broadly and visit the red-rose city.

The former world heavyweight champion said he accepted the invitation immediately upon receiving it, voicing his enthusiasm to participate in the international gathering.

For his part, Düzyatan expressed his delight in visiting Jordan, extending messages of affection to the Jordanian public and commending the warm reception he received upon his arrival in Amman.

The presence of both international figures comes as part of Jordan MMA Week, organized in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) to enhance the Kingdom's position as a regional hub for sports tourism.

The event series will culminate on Friday at the Roman Theater in downtown Amman with the "DF: UNCAGED" fight night, alongside a lineup of accompanying sports and promotional activities.
