Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) -- Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD14.9 million Thursday. Traders exchanged 5.1 million shares through 5,386 transactions.

The general share price index edged up 0.06 percent to reach 4,117 points at the close.

Of the 110 companies traded, 33 posted higher share prices than at their previous closes, while 46 posted lower prices.

By sector, the services index fell 0.73 percent. The financial sector index rose 0.42 percent, and the industrial sector index rose 0.02 percent.
