Amman, Sept 19 (Petra) – Southern Military Zone troops early Saturday morning foiled an attempt by three individuals to infiltrate across the frontier.

A Border Guard patrol spotted the infiltrators as they tried to breach the border, applying rules of engagement and arresting them. They were referred to the competent authorities for legal action.

The Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) said Border Guard forces carried out their duties with vigilance and resolve, upholding their responsibility to protect the country's borders, safeguard its sovereignty, and counter any infiltration attempt or illegal activities that threaten national security and stability.
