From Dead Sea to Red Sea: Ayla and Generations For Peace Team Up for 200-Kilometer Endurance Showcase

AQABA, Sept. 12 (Petra) -- Ayla Oasis Development Company has announced its official sponsorship of the upcoming Dead2Red running and cycling relay, a grueling two-hundred-kilometer endurance test stretching from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea. Organized by Generations For Peace, this year's edition is slated for October 22 and 23.

Under the partnership, the prestigious event will officially be titled "Ayla Dead2Red," with Ayla hosting the final leg of the course. Organizers have established a dedicated route within the development leading directly to the finish line, offering participants a distinct athletic finale against the backdrop of Aqaba’s premier resort and leisure destination.

Combining long-distance cycling and running, the race transcends conventional competition, championing active lifestyles, teamwork, and community engagement as athletes push toward the coastal city.

Ayla’s sponsorship mirrors its enduring commitment to supporting diverse athletic disciplines and promoting healthy, active lifestyles. It also underscores the company's role in bolstering Aqaba's tourism sector by drawing visitors through a blend of sports, recreation, and natural landscapes.

Managing Director of Ayla Oasis Development Company, Sahl Dudin, emphasized that sports remain fundamental to Ayla's core lifestyle ethos and serve as a powerful catalyst for community engagement and destination marketing. He noted that the race bridges physical challenge with exceptional teamwork.

Dudin reaffirmed Ayla's ongoing dedication to backing quality initiatives that enrich Aqaba’s calendar and expand visitor experiences, highlighting sports tourism's capacity to attract diverse demographics and elevate the city's global profile.

On her part, Generations For Peace Chief Executive Officer Lama Hattab praised the collaboration, noting that the event hinges on endurance, shared participation, and collective effort, which will significantly elevate the participant experience and broaden the initiative's community impact.

Through continuous sponsorship of major athletic and social events, Ayla solidifies Aqaba's stature as a multi-dimensional tourism and sports hub, providing an optimal environment that stimulates local commerce and enhances experiences for residents and visitors alike.
