Lydia Musleh Places 16th in Asian Games Triathlon

Amman, Sept. 20 (Petra) -- Jordan’s Lydia Musleh placed 16th in the women’s triathlon at the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, on Sunday, completing the three-discipline race in one hour, three minutes and 39 seconds.
The national team athlete competed against 27 other triathletes in an event featuring a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer cycling stage and a five-kilometer run.
China secured the top two places, with Lin Xinyu winning gold in 57 minutes and 37 seconds and Huang Anshi taking silver in 57 minutes and 58 seconds.
Japan’s Manami Hayashi completed the podium, claiming bronze with a time of 58 minutes and 36 seconds.
